This red blend is Boyd Cru Wines first signature red wine that was blended with grapes that have traditionally been known to be very strong and quality red wines: Barbera, Malbec, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc, from both France and Italy.

The elder yet well-known grapes speak to the ancestry of wine, and similarly Living Legacy represents the robust ancestry of our owners, Matthew and Jon’ll’s families, and how they have become blended together to create a legacy that will continue on through their children and their children’s children.

Our Living Legacy Red Wine Blend features beautiful aromas of fresh red fruit, including cherries and raspberries, that gives way to blackberry aromas contributed by the malbec. Aromas of spice and cocoa also complement the fruit. Lush flavors of cherry, blackberry, and spice with hints of cocoa, espresso, and graphite.

This wine has a good weight in the mid-palate, which makes it very approachable and good for a year-round red wine.
